I am a good web developer who like to build awesome products but I’m terrible in marketing those products. It was one of my favorite side projects and I worked hard to create a beautiful site and landing pages. But quickly, I lost focus just because I couldn’t market it as I was expecting. That’s why I decided to sell the site to someone who is active in design community and know how to market it.

Wired Dots domain + website source code + database of 900+ users and over 1900+ newsletter subscribers. Full right to 30+ Bootstrap 4 landing page templates with source codes. Possible help to move the project to buyer server.

What is the technological stack?

Website is developed in Spring Boot, Thymeleaf & MySQL. It uses AWS for storing assets (S3) and sending emails (SES). The site is hosted on EC2. Imgix is used for serving scaled images. Paddle.com is used for payments (subscriptions + one time).

The landing page templates are developed in Bootstrap 4 with SCSS source code.

What actions are required to keep the business working?

It requires tittle to none maintenance. The site is fully automated. The buyer should focus on marketing the site to bring in more customers.

What marketing initiatives have been used for this business?

As I said earlier, I am not good in marketing. I only posted on Hacker News, Designer News and Product Hunt which brought some customers and subscribers.

Ideally, the future owner should be someone who is active in design community and know how to promote the site to reach right customers. He can also sell individual landing pages on marketplaces like WrapBootstrap and so for more revenue. Another revenue channel can be monetizing weekly newsletter.
