Describe your product

Email receipt management for you and your business. Oficin is a service that works quietly in the back. You simply forward your email receipts (either plain text + PDF attachments) and Oficin does all the work: Extracting company details, the amount, converting to another currency if needed, and categorize the receipt.

It collects and aggregates everything on a monthly basis. In the dashboard you are shown monthly overviews where you can change details where needed and filter based on category (eg. business / personal / transport) and download PDFs or CSV files ready to your bookkeeping or, better, hand over to your accountant for your bookkeeeping.

Why are you selling the business?

Other products take up my time now.

What is included in the sale?

All business assets; source code, servers, access to used services, domain, emails, twitter

What is the technological stack?

The app is a fairly standard and modern Rails 5.0.0 app with Ruby 2.2.6. Database is Postgres. It uses Stripe for payments. The marketing pages (anything on the www subdomain) are static pages built by a Gulp script.

What actions are required to keep the business working?

From a tech point of view: nothing. everything runs as it should. Some features listed on the plans are not enforced (limit on the receipts).

How does the business generate revenues?

It’s a SaaS with plans at $9,99, $29, $59, $99. But revenue has dried up completely.

What marketing initiatives have been used for this business?

Early stage: email outreach, blog content.

How can the future owner generate more revenues?

Full-steam marketing. Content marketing, email outreach, side-projects (free tools) as marketing, new features in the form of data analysis?
